Introduction:
At the time of writing, Rainbow Moon is a PSN title only and at a very reasonable price. Rainbow Moon is a Tactical Role Playing game that focus on the gameplay and not so much the story. The battle system is much like most JTRPGs like Final Fantasy Tactics or Disgaea but it is nowhere as complicated and it's pretty fast paced in comparison. Most of the game will be about exploring the world you are in, fighting and completing fetch quests. There really is a lot to do in the game and a lot of value for your money. Some might say you need to grind a lot, well, you need to grind a little bit but for the most part it won't feel like grinding because you're doing side-quests. It looks and plays much like an old 2D game, maybe a bit flash game looking, but it fits the game well. The soundtrack is solid too. There are many DLCs, most of them will just make the beginning of the the game easier/faster. There are no DLCs with trophies and there won't be any either.
I've put all the trophies in the Trophy Guide in the normal PSN order so it's easier to navigate the guide and see which of the hidden trophies you are missing. I've tried not to give away too much of the story and the world but in those cases where I have, I've tried to put it in spoiler tags. There is nothing missable in the game so if you don't want to play with a guide, then you don't need to do so. What I've focused on in the guide is helping you getting the in a somewhat fast manner. If you think there is anything I should improve upon, don't hesitate to say so.

Walkthrough:
Step 1 (Story):
No trophy is affected by the difficulty you choose to play the game on, so if you want an easier time play on Normal difficulty. What Play Style you choose does not matter, but the reward for choosing Adventuresome is getting 750 Rainbow Coins (it's not a lot of coins) at some point later in the game. There are no missable trophies, so no need to worry about missing anything. Finish the story and you can go back and do anything you miss. You will "always" know where to go by looking at the map and see where the apostrophe is. There is information about what you are currently supposed to do in the Main quest log, which is located in the Main Menu under the book tab. I recommend reading the tips at the bottom of the road map, and the tips on the trophy Level God. You should also get familiar with the requirements for the trophies that aren't story related, as most of them will come along naturally if you just give them some thought. Completing the story, and thereby completing this step too, should get you all the story related trophies.
If you need any help with what to do in the story line, then No1leftB3Hind has been so kind as to create a youtube guide for the game and let us link to it here. The guide can be located HERE
Step 2 (Post-game):
What you want to do after you beat the game, post-game, is to work on upgrading your level cap, levelling up, saving up 500,000 Rainbow Coins and upgrading the store merchants. Most of what you want to do at this step is found under Level God but also Skilled! and Half a Millionaire.
Step 3 (Clean-up):
You really shouldn't have many trophies left by now, as I'm sure you have taken a look at the other ones along the way. In any case, the rest should be very easy and not very time consuming to obtain.
Some tips:
- I highly recommend reading THIS site to learn pretty much everything there is to know about the battlesystem. If you need more help, there is also a lot of other information there, and there is also in-game tutorials found under the Book tab in the main menu in the game.
- There's a free DLC for the game in the PS Store called Beginner's Kit.
- If you press in the middle of a battle, you will be able to see what order the enemies will attack in. You won't see numbers, but rather alphabetical characters, and they are ordered alphabetically. If you got any problems seeing any of your enemies, use to focus on the middle of the battlefield.
- If you still need any battle tips, look at the guide for the trophy Level God.
- Press to bring up the map, press to make the map focus on you and to make the map focus on your main quest goal location.
- The most important stat in the game is speed, make sure to always put Rainbow Pearls into that first. HP is not worth putting any points into before almost post-game, unless you got a lot of extra Rainbow Pearls.
- Put pretty much all permanent stat upgrade items on the main character, this way he will be overpowered and will survive most boss battles with ease. He is very strong against the hardest boss in the storyline part of the game. If you feel I'm wrong, do whatever you want and create a solid party.
- If you have a hard time, try to find some place where the enemies are much higher level than you (some optional dungeon, for example the one to the east of Cassar Island), and grind some overpowered enemies in small groups there. A trick is to kill them before they do any/much damage to you, which means you should focus on speed.
- You may also want to use skills all the time, and go back and refill MP at some healer whenever needed. Makes your life very easy near the end of the game, and the healers are always conveniently placed nearby. You also end up levelling up the skills a lot more this way, making them stronger and more reliable in important battles. Once you've used a skill enough times, you can skip it's animation by holding down , this might save you some hours of wasted playtime.
- Once you are able to purchase the skill "Who Knows?", purchase it, because equipping it works like equipping any 3 other passive skills the character has learned at the low price of 3 Skill points. It's a very cheap way of activating extremely useful skills such as "Endurance Master" and "XP Rain". It activates the skills at random, so it might take some tries before it activates the skills you want it to.
- Once you are able to enter the lottery, you can abuse the lottery to get some nice equipment. S-Class prizes usually are very good equipment, and the higher the lottery level the better the prizes. Higher lottery level is unlocked through doing certain quests. See Bulls Eye for more info about lotteries.
- You can extend the condition a magic inflicts by using it many times. For example using the Haste on your team a hundred times will make the haste condition last 100 times longer. Same goes for Protect and lighting up dungeons etc.
- Much of the grinding can be avoided by doing side-quests instead, or fighting higher levelled enemies.
- If someone dies in a boss battle, and you know they will be wiped out instantly if you revive them. Wait to revive them until the boss is almost dead, and then revive them to let them also get some of the xp from the boss.
- It's always useful to have a varied team. You may think it takes a long time levelling up a new character, but it does not. They will be some few levels under you in a matter of a few level ups of the rest of the team. What takes time is earning them enough Rainbow Pearls, but just go somewhere where the enemies are easy to kill, and let the new character do all the kills, and remember to boost their speed. Personally I used Baldren, Dozerus and Serena.
- When you run into a monster, the text "ENCOUNTER" will appear. If the text is in red color and you kill them they won't ever reappear, which usually is a good thing, because they will be blocking your path no more.
- You can view a lot of information about your save on the Rainbow Moon homesit, but to do so you need to upload your data to them too. There are these characters in the game who you talk to, just like any other merchant, that let's you upload your data. One of them is located in the village at Cassar Island. To view your stats and data, search for your player HERE.
- A little battle tip you will probably figure out on your own but I will say it anyway. Later in the game you will get Active Skills that let you move while you use them, use it for all it's worth. I mean if you need to move, use them to attack your enemies while you move around.
