Introduction:
At the time of writing, Rainbow Moon is a PSN title only and at a very reasonable price. Rainbow Moon is a Tactical Role Playing game that focus on the gameplay and not so much the story. The battle system is much like most JTRPGs like Final Fantasy Tactics or Disgaea but it is nowhere as complicated and it's pretty fast paced in comparison. Most of the game will be about exploring the world you are in, fighting and completing fetch quests. There really is a lot to do in the game and a lot of value for your money. Some might say you need to grind a lot, well, you need to grind a little bit but for the most part it won't feel like grinding because you're doing side-quests. It looks and plays much like an old 2D game, maybe a bit flash game looking, but it fits the game well. The soundtrack is solid too. There are many DLCs, most of them will just make the beginning of the the game easier/faster. There are no DLCs with trophies and there won't be any either.

I've put all the trophies in the Trophy Guide in the normal PSN order so it's easier to navigate the guide and see which of the hidden trophies you are missing. I've tried not to give away too much of the story and the world but in those cases where I have, I've tried to put it in spoiler tags. There is nothing missable in the game so if you don't want to play with a guide, then you don't need to do so. What I've focused on in the guide is helping you getting the in a somewhat fast manner. If you think there is anything I should improve upon, don't hesitate to say so.

Thanks to:
No1leftB3Hind for the youtube guide, Draghaughts for the useful tip of pressing in the middle of a fight to see enemy order and bydlaq for informing me about how to extend magic conditions.

Walkthrough:

Step 1 (Story):
No trophy is affected by the difficulty you choose to play the game on, so if you want an easier time play on Normal difficulty. What Play Style you choose does not matter, but the reward for choosing Adventuresome is getting 750 Rainbow Coins (it's not a lot of coins) at some point later in the game. There are no missable trophies, so no need to worry about missing anything. Finish the story and you can go back and do anything you miss. You will "always" know where to go by looking at the map and see where the apostrophe is. There is information about what you are currently supposed to do in the Main quest log, which is located in the Main Menu under the book tab. I recommend reading the tips at the bottom of the road map, and the tips on the trophy Level God. You should also get familiar with the requirements for the trophies that aren't story related, as most of them will come along naturally if you just give them some thought. Completing the story, and thereby completing this step too, should get you all the story related trophies.

If you need any help with what to do in the story line, then No1leftB3Hind has been so kind as to create a youtube guide for the game and let us link to it here. The guide can be located HERE

Step 2 (Post-game):
What you want to do after you beat the game, post-game, is to work on upgrading your level cap, levelling up, saving up 500,000 Rainbow Coins and upgrading the store merchants. Most of what you want to do at this step is found under Level God but also Skilled! and Half a Millionaire.

Step 3 (Clean-up):
You really shouldn't have many trophies left by now, as I'm sure you have taken a look at the other ones along the way. In any case, the rest should be very easy and not very time consuming to obtain.

Some tips:

  • I highly recommend reading THIS site to learn pretty much everything there is to know about the battlesystem. If you need more help, there is also a lot of other information there, and there is also in-game tutorials found under the Book tab in the main menu in the game.
  • There's a free DLC for the game in the PS Store called Beginner's Kit.
  • If you press in the middle of a battle, you will be able to see what order the enemies will attack in. You won't see numbers, but rather alphabetical characters, and they are ordered alphabetically. If you got any problems seeing any of your enemies, use to focus on the middle of the battlefield.
  • If you still need any battle tips, look at the guide for the trophy Level God.
  • Press to bring up the map, press to make the map focus on you and to make the map focus on your main quest goal location.
  • The most important stat in the game is speed, make sure to always put Rainbow Pearls into that first. HP is not worth putting any points into before almost post-game, unless you got a lot of extra Rainbow Pearls.
  • Put pretty much all permanent stat upgrade items on the main character, this way he will be overpowered and will survive most boss battles with ease. He is very strong against the hardest boss in the storyline part of the game. If you feel I'm wrong, do whatever you want and create a solid party.
  • If you have a hard time, try to find some place where the enemies are much higher level than you (some optional dungeon, for example the one to the east of Cassar Island), and grind some overpowered enemies in small groups there. A trick is to kill them before they do any/much damage to you, which means you should focus on speed.
  • You may also want to use skills all the time, and go back and refill MP at some healer whenever needed. Makes your life very easy near the end of the game, and the healers are always conveniently placed nearby. You also end up levelling up the skills a lot more this way, making them stronger and more reliable in important battles. Once you've used a skill enough times, you can skip it's animation by holding down , this might save you some hours of wasted playtime.
  • Once you are able to purchase the skill "Who Knows?", purchase it, because equipping it works like equipping any 3 other passive skills the character has learned at the low price of 3 Skill points. It's a very cheap way of activating extremely useful skills such as "Endurance Master" and "XP Rain". It activates the skills at random, so it might take some tries before it activates the skills you want it to.
  • Once you are able to enter the lottery, you can abuse the lottery to get some nice equipment. S-Class prizes usually are very good equipment, and the higher the lottery level the better the prizes. Higher lottery level is unlocked through doing certain quests. See Bulls Eye for more info about lotteries.
  • You can extend the condition a magic inflicts by using it many times. For example using the Haste on your team a hundred times will make the haste condition last 100 times longer. Same goes for Protect and lighting up dungeons etc.
  • Much of the grinding can be avoided by doing side-quests instead, or fighting higher levelled enemies.
  • If someone dies in a boss battle, and you know they will be wiped out instantly if you revive them. Wait to revive them until the boss is almost dead, and then revive them to let them also get some of the xp from the boss.
  • It's always useful to have a varied team. You may think it takes a long time levelling up a new character, but it does not. They will be some few levels under you in a matter of a few level ups of the rest of the team. What takes time is earning them enough Rainbow Pearls, but just go somewhere where the enemies are easy to kill, and let the new character do all the kills, and remember to boost their speed. Personally I used Baldren, Dozerus and Serena.
  • When you run into a monster, the text "ENCOUNTER" will appear. If the text is in red color and you kill them they won't ever reappear, which usually is a good thing, because they will be blocking your path no more.
  • You can view a lot of information about your save on the Rainbow Moon homesit, but to do so you need to upload your data to them too. There are these characters in the game who you talk to, just like any other merchant, that let's you upload your data. One of them is located in the village at Cassar Island. To view your stats and data, search for your player HERE.
  • A little battle tip you will probably figure out on your own but I will say it anyway. Later in the game you will get Active Skills that let you move while you use them, use it for all it's worth. I mean if you need to move, use them to attack your enemies while you move around.

53 trophies ( 42  29  )

  • Obtain all other trophies to unlock the platinum trophy.

As usual, obtain all the other trophies in the game to obtain the .

  • Win your first battle on Rainbow Moon.

Just win a battle to obtain this trophy. You will be doing this a lot throughout the game.

  • Accumulate 2,500 Rainbow Coins in your inventory.

To obtain this trophy you must have 2500 or more Rainbow Coins in your inventory.
See Half a Millionaire for some tips.

  • Accumulate 500,000 Rainbow Coins in your inventory.

To obtain this trophy you must have 500000 or more Rainbow Coins in your inventory.
Both of the Rainbow Coins trophies are much easier post-game, as you gain a lot more Rainbow Coins fighting very strong enemies. Personally, I used the first tip you can find at end of the guide for the trophy Level God. It gave me around 15k Rainbow Coins in average per battle, and it was extremely easy.

You can also abuse the lottery to earn Rainbow Coins by betting 35k Rainbow Coins and winning the S-class prizes for then to sell them for like 50k Rainbow Coins. See the trophy Bulls Eye for the lottery trick.

A third method is to purchase DLCs from the PS Store, like the Rainbow Moon 270,000 Rainbow Coins DLC.

  • Improve your weapons or armor at the crafting shop for 10 times.

Craft 10 times to obtain this trophy.
    See Extreme Crafter for tips.

  • Improve your weapons or armor at the crafting shop for 50 times.

Craft 50 times to obtain this trophy.
    See Extreme Crafter for tips.

  • Improve your weapons or armor at the crafting shop for 250 times.

Craft 250 times to obtain this trophy.

Crafting is done by talking to someone with a hammer in a dialogue box over their head. They are located all over the game. Here you can select an equipment and upgrade it with various materials. Be aware that each equipment can only be crafted a select number of times, in the game it's called slots. Certain Materials might not seem to give you any stat increase, but they could give you some kind of special skill or condition if you use them to craft the equipment, but they can only have one skill and one condition at a time.

    Tips:

    • When you craft does not matter. After the Half a Millionaire trophy, you can purchase a lot of armor and weapons and just craft all you like. You will find more than enough crafting materials.
    • Crafting Materials scale with the enemies they are dropped by. Later in the game you will find many of the same crafting materials, just much stronger. You will be upgrading your equipment many times, so don't be afraid to craft your equipment with "bad" crafting materials.
    • You can put crap crafting materials on all the old equipment you got before you sell it. That way you don't lose as much by crafting the materials instead of selling them, and you don't need to purchase equipment to craft them later.
  • Complete 40 side quests or more.

Complete 40 side quests to obtain this trophy. You get side quests by talking to people, then you can view active and completed side quest under the Book tab in the main menu. There are 66 side quests. Many of them requires you to collect a certain amount of dropped items from enemies, these can be a nice reason to grind a bit for, but is always much easier to come back to later. Some later in the game might even require items dropped by much lower levelled monsters than the ones you are probably meant to farm them for. Help with the various side quests and a list of all side quests can be found HERE (thanks to everyone who has contributed to the list and continuously help people over in that thread).

  • Accumulate 40 hours of play time.

The in-game timer must say you've played for 40 hours to obtain this trophy.

See Everlasting Perfectionist for a trick.

  • Accumulate 100 hours of play time.

The in-game timer must say you've played for 100 hours to obtain this trophy.

You may think it is just to put down your controller and do something else, but that is not the case. The game will automatically pause after a minute or two if no buttons are pressed. The trick is then to keep one of the buttons pushed down. I recommend putting a rubberband over the button and around the handle of the controller. This works no matter where you are in the game and you won't get hungry or die from doing this.

  • Lose three battles.

Your entire team must be wiped out in battle three times to obtain this trophy.

After losing a fight, you will be asked if you want to return to the portal or just exit the fight. Only your team leader will have 1 HP left, making it easy to die a couple of more times. Easiest way to obtain this trophy is if the enemies aren't too much weaker than your own team, most preferably a lot harder. There are enemies in post-game you can access "too early" and could potentially wipe out your entire team without you even getting a chance to do anything. There should always be enemies that can wipe out your team, but you might as well try to get this trophy as early as you can, just in case it can become difficult or tiring at some point.

  • Use the camp at least 25 times.

Use camps 25 times to earn this trophy.

Around the world map you may find some bonfires. You can camp if you click on these bonfires. They are free to use, and will restore health to your team, but not refill your MP and your team will even become more hungry by using them. The first camp is located right next to Cassar Village (north east).

  • Stay overnight at the tavern 10 times.

Stay at Taverns 10 times, I believe there is no need to stay "overnight".

There are plenty of Taverns in the game. To stay at one, you need to find them and they are usually located in the bigger villages. The guy you want to look for has lots of "Zzz" in a dialogue box over his head. Using a Tavern will restore most of your hunger, and you will wake up at the next 6:00 o' clock in the game.

  • Discover and use all wells on Rainbow Moon.

Discover and use all 24 wells in Rainbow Moon.

The various wells have many different functions. Some let you heal, others can give you bad status, some let you enter them, while others you must fight a boss at. To obtain this trophy, you must just click at them all. Here's a map where I've located all the wells with a red dot:

  • Use any recovery well at least 15 times.

There are several recovery wells in Rainbow Moon. They will give you this message when you use them: "A heat penetrates your body..". This is a map where I've marked with a red dot where some of the recovery wells are:

  • Kill at least 300 of the same type of monster.

Simply kill at least 300 of the same type of monster to obtain this trophy.

You can view the kill count in the Bestiary, which is located under the Book tab in the main menu.

  • Win 50 or more random encounter battles.

While walking around you may encounter random enemies who wants to fight, they will appear in the bottom left corner of the screen and you need to press to initialize the battle. Win 50 of these battles and the trophy is yours.

  • Acquire and learn all available skills for any of your main characters. (The skill level doesn't matter)

One of your main characters needs to learn all the skills they can possibly learn to obtain this trophy.

This trophy requires you to complete the main quest and story and do a series of side quests to upgrade the scroll vendors' selection. The most import of these side quests are the series of Big Jade Statue side quests. You can find the quest giver in Polad (north in Mordan).

The location of all the Big Jade Statues:

    • Murky Basement - 3
    • Horheim - 1
    • Mining Shaft - 2
    • Broad Kennel - 4
    • Warehouse - 2
    • Great Labyrinth - 4
    • Castle Temwall - 4
    • Zarah's Camp - 4
    • Stormlords Den - 6
    • Cave of the Ancestors - 6
    • Endless Passage - 4
    • Dripstone Cave - 5
    • Jewom's Hidden Cave - 4

    Tips:

    • You can wait until after saving up Rainbow Coins for the trophy Half a Millionaire, because I'm sure you will be able to save up for that trophy before you are able to upgrade the shop level to high enough level to purchase all skills for a character.
    • You can purchase all the skills for a character, learn the character all the skills and get the trophy, then just load back without having wasted all the Rainbow Coins on something you may not want to waste it on.
    • All of Dozerus' skills can be bought when the shop is only level 12. You can view your shop level on the Rainbow Moon website, after uploading it there of course (see the Road Map for how to). Not only does it only require shop level 12 but Dozerus can also learn the fewest skills making it cheaper.
  • Level up any of your active skills to level 50 or higher.

Level up any of your Active Skills to level 50 to obtain this trophy.

You can purchase skill scrolls from the scroll stores, which is the guys with a scroll over their head. The easiest and fastest way to obtain this trophy is by activating the Passive Skill Skill Master (triple skill xp) then to repeatedly use Magic Light from the main menu, and then just heal the MP whenever needed. Magic Light stacks, so if you've spammed the spell, it will continue to stay light in the dark for quite a long while. An alternative skill is X-Ray Review, it levels up fast but can only be accessed in-battle but it doesn't use any subturn and only costs 1MP to use. X-Ray Review is nice to have levelled up high, because it let you view your enemies stats without spending a sub-turn and it only cost 1MP. If you have got the Passive Skill Skill Master equipped and often use skills often, then you will most likely get this trophy naturally somewhere post-game.

  • Escape 30 times from a battle using the escape option.

Escape from 30 battles to obtain this trophy.

Easily done by just running into a non-random battle and selecting escape in the battle menu when it's your turn, then afterwards repeat the whole process 29 more times.

  • Accumulate 200 Rainbow Pearls with any character before spending them at the savant.

Stack up 200 unused Rainbow Pearls on any one of your character to obtain this trophy.

You get Rainbow Pearls when you kill someone, how many depends on how strong what you kill is, early in the game everything is worth 1 Rainbow Pearl. In post-game you can get many Rainbow Pearls after just one fight, making it (almost) impossible not to get this trophy. If you actually got problems with this one there is a passive skill called "Pearl Rain" that will give you additional Rainbow Pearls when you kill something.

  • Reach level 100 with any of your main characters.

Reach level 100 with any of your main characters to obtain this trophy.

See Level God for info and tips.

  • Reach level 250 with any of your main characters.

Reach level 250 with any of your main characters to obtain this trophy.

See Level God for info and tips.

  • Reach level 500 with any of your main characters.

Reach level 500 with any of your main characters to obtain this trophy.

Leveling up to level 500 might seem like a long journey, especially at the beginning of the game. The secret is that once you reach post-game (after beating last boss) you will be leveling up a lot faster than before for various reasons. The most important reason is that for the most part the amount of XP needed to level up remains constant, but also that the enemies give you more and more XP depending on how strong they are.

    XP needed to level up

    • Level 80(I think) to 150:
      • 25,000,000 XP
    • Level 150 to 500:
      • 100,000,000 XP

There are five level caps, but you only need to upgrade it three times. They get unlocked from completing the main quest and some of the side-quests. You start out with a level cap of 80, and you won't be able to upgrade it until post-game.

    Upgrading level cap to:

    • Level 150:
      1. Beat the last boss in the story line. See Dimension Traveler for more help.
    • Level 250:
      1. Follow the "main quest" in post-game. It will eventually take you to the side quest The Prisoner. See the Forgotten Island trophy for map to location.
      2. To complete the side quest The Prisoner, you need to visit the two tiny islands north of the quest giver, where you will fight some robots for a treasure chest. Take their contents to the quest giver, and he will give you an item that let you remove the blockade at the entrance of the Forgotten Island.
      3. The Forgotten Island is located to the north of the quest giver, and is a bigger island. Fight your way to the girl on the island and talk to her, then return to the quest giver to turn in the quest.
      4. Talk to quest giver and the girl a couple of times to get everything they have to give and a new quest called Beast Master. Beast Master is the quest that once completed will let you level up to level 250 and not just 150.
      5. To complete this quest you will need 20x Imp Wing, which is easy to find, but you will also need 2x Big Fire Statue, which is much harder. To get the two Big Fire Statues, you need to complete the two side quests The Crystals and The box, more info is in the "Where to grind in post-game" list under.
      6. Once the items required is obtained, talk to the quest giver to turn in the quest and reap the reward.
    • Level 600:
      1. Talk to the quest giver again, and he will give you a new quest, Strategy Master.
      2. He wants you to bring him 20x Living Rock and 4x Big Fire Statue. You will quickly realize once you start fighting your next enemies that 20x Living Rock won't be any problem, but 4x Big Fire Statue is a bit more complicated. Again have I pointed out in the "Where to grind post-game" list what you need to do.
      3. Once the items required is obtained, talk to the quest giver to turn in the quest and reap the reward.

Where to grind post-game based on your level:

    • 70-90
      1. Forgotten Island - Pocket Robot, smaller groups to begin with, but then slowly challenge stronger enemies and bigger groups
      2. Limwar's House - Dark Mage
    • 80-115
      1. Forgotten Island - Drill Unit and Circuit Bot
    • 90-150
      1. Murky Basement (Burning Steppe, Mordan) - See Murky Basement for map to the location, but you may need to start some side-quests to get access to the various parts of the dungeon. These quest givers are located in Polad (south in Mordan) and I think one north of Polad.
      2. Horheim (Burning Steppe, Mordan) - Right above Murky Basement, but requires you to sail to it.
      3. Mining Shaft (Teardrop Mountain, Mordan) - The Crystals (side quest, quest giver is located east in Mordan) must be completed to upgrade level cap
      4. Warehouse (Taswan, Tscha) - The Box (side quest, quest giver is located in Taswan) must be completed to upgrade level cap
    • 150-250
      1. Stormlord's Den (Cassar Island, East) - (4x Big Jade Statue) No need to go any further than the Tarantella. Good place to grind, as there are random encounters. Before fighting any Bone Lords I highly recommend grinding large groups of Death Slimes for lots of XP, Rainbow Coins, Rainbow Pearls and good crafting materials (Glowing Core; +400HP, +250Luck).
      2. Broad Kennel - (4x Big Jade Statue)
      3. Great Labyrinth (Taswn, Tscha) - The Single (side quest) must be completed to upgrade level cap.
      4. Big Bang (A cannon boss, north of west side of Cassar Island) - Must pick up treasure behind boss to uprade level cap. A hot tip is that Big Bang can be Bound (use Earth Crusher) and then not be able to attack you if you are standing diagonally next to it.
      5. Castle Temwall - Order of the King (side quest) must be completed to upgrade level cap. All you need to worry about is on the right side of the middle path of the dungeon, so no need to fight many level 500 enemies, but there are some level 400. Right before the level 400 Tarantella, on their right side, there is a button that opens a secret path. This path is straight behind the Tarantella, and takes you to a room full of pictures of people who probably have made the game. Behind the two closest Power Golems on the left side of the Tarantella is the two buttons you will want to press to open the path to the "cages" behind the Tarantella, where you will find the Order of the King.
      6. Mining Shaft (Teardrop Mountain, Mordan) - Two huge groups (38) of Power Golems, lots of xp and which drop lots of Living Rock. Might want to save it until after 250 level cap for easy leveling, but if you aren't level 250 and you miss some Living Rocks, this is a fast place to get them.
    • 250-500
      • Zrah's Camp (Vildwar Isle, Euran) - (2x Big Jade Statue, behind the easiest of the Taranetella groups)
      • Stormlord's Den (Cassar Island, East) - There are random encounters here with huge groups of various monsters you should be all too familiar with killing by now. Large groups of Power Golems and Death Slimes (with Bonelords if you have defeated some of those) should be pretty easy to take out . I recommend this because they give you a huge amount of XP along with lots of Rainbow Coins and Materials that can be sold for even more Rainbow Coins. I got in average about 15-20k Rainbow Coins and gained about 6 levels or so. You may also go somewhere else to fight, but those enemies will be a lot harder and will probbaly award you with the same amount of xp. A fast and good way to take out a lot of strong physical enemies is using Serena with Legacy of Light (lottery prize) and her Active Skill Dragon's Breath.

    Tips:

    • Between level 150 and 250 and before fighting any Bone Lords, I highly recommend grinding large groups of Death Slimes in Stormlord's Den for lots of XP, Rainbow Coins, Rainbow Pearls and good crafting materials (Glowing Core; +400HP, +250Luck). This can also easily be done when you are grinding from level 250 to 500 at the same location.
    • If you got any problems fighting strong enemies in large groups, remember that you get just as much xp per kill for killing them in smaller groups too.
    • Early in the game, you may save a lot of time by fighting much higher leveled enemies in optional areas. One area I liked was the Stormlord's Den (east of Cassar Island).
    • Do side-quests. It won't feel so much like you're grinding then, and there are many great rewards for completing side-quests that will help you on your journey.
    • In post-game, you will be going behind the various sealed barriers. Look at the map in dungeons to easier find where they are if you have explored them before. If you haven't really been completely exploring every dungeon, especially the optional ones, then try to look for places on the dungeon map which you haven't visited before. Open endings or gates that goes nowhere are sure sign there are something more there.
    • While post-game grinding, you will notice that you level up very often, in fact so often that you might not need to visit a healer unless someone dies. You can even then avoid going to the healer if someone knows the Active Skill "Revive". It can be used from the main menu, and not just in-battle. Be aware that when you reach the level cap, then you won't be leveling anymore. If you got a lot of HP, I mean a lot, it might be cheaper to purchase Nectar healing items instead from the store.
    • Craft Toxic Ixiolit into your armour or weapon to add Hasted condition. This makes it your character's turn more often. Toxic Ixiolit is dropped by; Giant Spider, Wizard and Living Gun.
    • Another awesome crafting material is Essence of the Moon, it will give you the Inflated condition, which doubles your HP. It is known to be dropped by Book of Rage, but it's very rare.
    • Once you have upgraded your lottery level to 5 and got the Half a Millionaire trophy, you should get all the 35k Rainbow Coins prizes, as they are almost all Ultimate weapons for your characters. For more information about the lottery see Bulls Eye.
    • Once you get access to it, purchase these passive skills for your main characters:
      • XP Rain (double XP)
      • Pearl Rain (extra Rainbow Pearls)
      • Who Knows? (randomly equips 3 passive skills for the price of 3 points)
      • Endurance Master (expensive, but you recieve an additional sub-turn)
      • Skill Master (Not really needed, but it helps you quickly level up Active Skills, triple Skill XP)
      • Item Master (Not really needed, but it allows you to use items in a battle without it consuming a sub-turn)

Secret trophies

  • Help Sarrothrod in the Southport Mines to escape from the dungeon and return to Cassar Village.

    Story related.

Help Sarrothrod in Southport Mines. Southport Mines is located a little north-west of the portal you entered Rainbow Moon, though you will need to walk through Cassar Village and north east of it to get there.

  • Defeat the monster that lives in the well in Cassar Village and get back to Stella.

    Story related.

Stella sends you on a new fetch quest to the other dungeon on Cassar Island. It's a bit north of the other dungeon. Once you get back she will ask you to fight a monster in the well right next to her at midnight. After the boss fight, the trophy will pop.

  • Acquire Trisha.

Story related. You obtain this trophy when Trisha joins your team.

Trisha is located on Cassar Island, on the path up to Thief Citadel. She must join you for you to get access to Thief Citadel.

The key opens a gate east of Orad that leads to Hopper Forest. Here you will meet Dozeru. Run his errands, and he will join your team. Your next stop is Castle Temwall. To get there, go back to the gate you entered Hopper Island with and walk east along the coastline where you eventually will spot it. You will be told you need to put together a Magic Portal Staff to leave Rainbow Moon and return to your own world. The problem is, the Magic Portal Staff has been split into pieces and is spread all over Rainbow Moon, so now you need to collect all 7 pieces. Charged Magnet Coil is one of those pieces. You will be told Namoris has been seen in the Shadow Wall Mountains, which is north-west of Orad, which also happens to be where Tondraest think one of the pieces is. You will be following after Namoris. In a dungeon you need a boat to get to and be able to fight against Namoris. Earth Crusher is a good Active Skill to use against him, to get him bound and not able to attack you if you're in a diagonal direction from him. After the battle is won he will give you this piece and you will obtain this trophy.

Afterwards you need to give him the cake, which is done by renting a raft to get to his little island west of the village. • Rebuild and obtain the Magic Portal Staff and defeat Namoris for the last time to gain unlimited warp access to the portal.

    Story related.

This is a pretty big quest and you are allowed to explore freely in a pretty large area. You are supposed to collect certain items to create a magical glue so the Magic Portal Staff won't just fall apart.

Items and how to get them:

    • Anywhere
      • 1x Yellow Ruby - Can be bought from any item merchant for 100 Rainbow Coins.
    • Tscha
      • 1x Enchanted Sand - Found in the dungeon east of the village Taswan (Tscha). You need to talk to the people in the village to get access to the dungeon.
      • 1x Singing Bowl - Found in the dungeon east of the village Taswan (Tscha). You need to talk to the people in the village to get access to the dungeon.
    • Arilla
      • 8x Sugar Tears - You get one of these for each green wasp you kill. You can't meet them in random encounters, at least I couldn't, only fightable through finding them on the world map.
      • 1x Mortar and Pestle - Found in a dungeon located at the southernmost tip of Arilla, see map for exact location. There is some dude standing outside, talk to him for the key to the dungeon. At the end of the dungeon there will be a boss, and behind the boss is the treasure chest with this item. You may want to take a left right before the boss, to go into the library and to find The Anthology.
      • 1x Emerald Scales Powder - Found in a dungeon located at the southernmost tip of Arilla, see map for exact location. There is some dude standing outside, talk to him for the key to the dungeon. Find the 5 shells he request to create the powder. They are in chests found behind some enemies. If you talk to him again you can deliver The Anthology, which he in return will give you lots of permanent stat upgrade items for.
      • 3x Wellspring Splashes - These are found in the wells, which are located on THIS map.
    • Mordan
      • 10x Dirty Fingernails - You need to find Marauders walking around and fight them. Just like with the Sugar Tears, you will be getting one per Marauders you kill. I recommend getting Pulsating Liquid first, as that's a good place to level up/grind before facing these tough guys. Another tip is to purchase the latest weapons, at least if you can purchase weapons such as Rippled Longsword, which has +390 Strength.
      • 1x Pulsating Liquid - You get the quest from a guy in the village at the easternmost part of Mordan. He needs 4 Pulsating Slimes to create the item you need, which is dropped by Red Blobs in the dungeon surrounded by mountain in the middle of Mordan (Teardrop Mountain). You should also bring back the Moss Crystal he wants, which is behind the "last" Red Blob.
      • 3x Wellspring Splashes - These are found in the wells, which are located on THIS map.

    Tips:
I recommend going to Mordan (the western-most of the islands), where the strongest enemies are and fighting against small enemy parties to boost your level before you start doing the quest.

When you've got all the items, go give them to Tondraest who will be waiting in Orad. Give him all he wants and keep talking to him until he gives you the Magic Portal Staff. If you go back to Cassar Island and talk to the guy who stands in front of the Portal a video clip will start and afterwards you will meet Namoris. You can still go around and make yourself stronger. The fight against Namoris is split into 3 fights, where the first two are against huge waves of enemies you've already fought against many times before. The last fight will be against Namoris!

Tips for the battles against Namoris:

    • In the two first fights, use abilities with large area of effect against the waves of enemies.
    • You can heal in between the 3 battles.
    • Good weapons and armors makes such a huge difference. Upgrading the weapons merchants by completing side quests helps, and there's some good stuff to be found in Tiny Maze.
    • You should be almost level 70, of course the higher the easier, but max is 80. Just do all the side-quests you can and this won't feel like a grind. See Level God for level up tips. You may also visit the two small side islands near the Forgotten Island for some level 80 enemies, see Forgotten Island for map to location.
    • Fight a low level enemy right next to the portal and use Haste and Protected many times on all 3 characters right before finishing the battle. If you've done it right, they will still have haste at the beginning of the battle. If you used Haste and Protected enough times, you will probably have it the entire fight.
    • Against Namoris I recommend you use a boost item such as Boost of Wisdom.
    • Equip passive skills to prevent poison, worsened and dazed.
    • Personally I fought the fight all alone with just the character you start out with, but he was very overpowered (level 75) in my case and I got a Speed Bonus.
    • You may want to try to start the battle several times to get the enemies placed like you want them. You may also be so lucky that you get a speed bonus.
    • In the final battle against Namoris, you might have noticed he will teleport lots of books into the battle field after almost half his health is lost. Don't think of this as making the battle harder, as they are very weak compared to Namoris. You could use them to your advantage by standing next to a couple of them, because then Namoris will have problems casting magic at you.
  • Obtain at least 100 hidden treasure items.

Find and obtain at least 100 hidden treasure items. A hidden treasure is the kind of treasure you pick up after press when you see a small white dialogue box with a question mark inside. They can be found anywhere, but are usually located in corners, near crystals and gravestones. They often contain great items like permanent stat upgrades, so make sure to always check all corners when in dungeons.

    Secret trick/glitch:
If you cancel the box with the items you get, and then click on the hidden treasure again, the amount of the items you get might change. For example, you might get more money or three potions instead of two.

  • Discover and enter the Ocher Stone Swamp, an optional area on Rainbow Moon.

Discover the optional area called Ocher Stone Swamp.

This location can be found very early in the game. To get there early in the game, you need to find and use a key located in Temwall Castle. Later in the game you can use a raft or a boat to get there.

On the map there are three things that are marked:

Green dot: Temwall Castle where the key can be obtained
Red dot: Orcher Stone Swamp (the optional area)
Blue: "Secret" dungeon which can be entered by walking into the back of the little house.

  • Discover and enter the Forgotten Island, an optional area on Rainbow Moon.

Discover the optional area called Forgotten Island.

    The area is located here:

As you can see, Forgotten Island sits just outside of the map. You must go ashore the main land of the biggest of the islands there.

  • Discover and enter Limwar's House, an optional dungeon in the Green Shimmer Forest.

Discover the optional area called Limwar's House in the Green Shimmer Forest.

It's inside the little lonely house.

  • Discover and enter the Murky Basement, an optional dungeon in Burning Steppe.

Discover the optional area called Murky Basement in Burning Steppe.

Most of this dungeon opens up by doing side-quest for people in Mordan.

  • Discover and enter the Warehouse, an optional dungeon in Taswan.

Discover the optional area called Warehouse in Taswan.

It's in a house in the middle of Taswan.

  • Win 10 prizes in the lottery.

You always win something at the lottery, so to obtain this trophy you basically just have to enter the lottery 10 times.

    See Bulls Eye for info.

  • Win five 'Class-A' prizes in the lottery.

Win five Class-A prizes in the lottery.

See Bulls Eye for info and tricks.

  • Win two 'Class-S' prizes in the lottery.

Win two Class-S prizes in the lottery.

The first lottery is located in Tafar but there is also one in Felad (south-west in Arilla) and Polad (south in Mordan) too.

A list of all lottery prizes can be located HERE.

    Easy money:

An easy way to earn money is to upgrade the lottery to level 5. Almost everything you win then will cost more than what you bet, usually 15k profit each time.

    Upgrade Lottery:

    • Level 2:
      • Beat the last boss in the main story-line.
    • Level 3:
      • Complete the side-quest The Great Labyrinth.
    • Level 4:
      • Complete the side-quest The Sailor.
    • Level 5:
      • Complete the side-quest The Single.

    Lottery trick:

What kind of prize you will win next in the lottery is decided at random after a battle or after last time entered the lottery. This means saving and loading before entering the lottery to get a better prize is pointless, because the decision has already been made before you enter it, but obviously there are some workarounds.

    Method one:

    1. Make sure the clock is between 6:00 and 15:31 and save in front of the lottery guy.
    2. Enter the lottery with a small bet.
    3. Walk over to the closest Tavern and sleep there.
    4. Enter the lottery again with whatever bet you want.
    5. If you get the prize you want, superb, else just load back and try again.

    Method two:

    1. Find a monster near a lottery guy and save before taking on the monster.
    2. Fight the monster.
    3. Walk over to the lottery and enter the lottery.
    4. If you get the prize you want, superb, else just load back and try again. You could also combine it with the first method.
  • Learn at least 10 different passive skills with any of your main characters.

Learn 10 different passive skills with any of your main characters. In other words, one of your main characters alone needs to learn 10 passive skills. There are many passive skills in the game, and they can be purchased from the Scroll Merchant, awarded by doing side-quests or found in treasure chests. What the Scroll Merchants sell will be updated as you progress in the story and do side-quests. You will obtain this trophy as you work on getting the trophy Skilled!.

  • Create 100 new monsters by tiling existing monsters with the killing stroke.

Create 100 new monsters by tiling (splitting them) into smaller pieces to obtain this trophy.

There are monsters that split when you kill them, creating between one and three more of the same monster and they will have half health left. This will probably come naturally, but if not, just fight monsters that can split. The books and the gel-like monsters can usually split.
